In 1869, P.T. Barnum wrote, “‘Every cloud,’ says the proverb, ‘has a silver lining,’ and so I did not despair.’ “
A silver lining – no matter how bad the situation, no matter how bad the storm and how dark the clouds, there is always some good that will come from it, there is always a silver lining. There has to be.
I have often said that I am an optimist, but perhaps that is not the best definition. An optimist sees the glass as half full; sees the good in every situation. I recognize the hard times and the bad times. Life isn’t always easy. But some good will always come out of the those times. Always.
I am a wife and a mom and a grandma.
I am an aspiring runner and yogi.
I work so that I can retire one day.
I have lived in and traveled to many places.
I have experienced much joy and much sorrow in my life.
I am strong and determined, but often feel weak and overwhelmed.
I believe all things happen for a reason – even the hard things.
I believe that every cloud has a silver lining. And every cloud makes me stronger.

Hi beautiful lady. I just stumbled across your blog and must say I feel deeply for you and the struggles you endure. You are a very sweet lady and I will always remember going into your office for a visit and seeing your smiling face and partake in one of your delicious bagels you might have on hand.
Stay strong darling lady. Big giant hugs to you and give Wayne my best.
We have started our migration south for the winter in our motorhome and will be hanging out somewhere in southern AZ.
Lots of love to you.
